We run these projects with one crew and one schedule. Demo, rough plumbing and electrical, inspection, waterproofing, tile, cabinetry, counters, fixtures, finish. You know which week each phase happens, and you have one person to call when something changes.

Where we spend the most attention is waterproofing, because it is the part you will never see and the only part that can quietly ruin the room. Showers get a proper waterproofing membrane and a flood test before any tile goes on. That test is not optional on our jobs, and we will show you the result.

    Design and fixed quote

    We measure, talk through how you actually use the room, and produce a layout with a line-item price. Selections are locked before demo so the budget does not drift mid-project.

  2. 2

    Demolition and rough-in

    Everything out, then plumbing and electrical roughed to the new layout. This is when surprises behind walls show up, and we photograph and price anything we find before proceeding.

  3. 3

    Waterproof, tile and install

    Membrane, flood test, then tile. Cabinets go in, counters get templated and installed, fixtures and lighting are connected.

  4. 4

    Punch list and handover

    We walk the room with you and write down everything, however small. Nothing is called finished until that list is empty and you have signed it off.

A same-layout remodel with new tile, vanity, fixtures and proper waterproofing starts around $16,500 and typically lands at $18,000–$26,000. Moving plumbing, building a curbless shower or adding frameless glass pushes it into the $28,000–$45,000 range.

Kitchens start at $42,000 for semi-custom cabinetry, quartz counters and new electrical, and run to $95,000 for full custom cabinetry, stone slabs and structural layout changes. Cabinetry alone is usually 35–40% of the total, so that is the decision that moves the number most.

Five to nine weeks depending on scope, and the long pole is almost always cabinetry lead time. We order cabinets before demo begins specifically so your kitchen is not sitting gutted waiting on a delivery truck.

For a same-layout cosmetic remodel, usually not. The moment you move plumbing or electrical, add a circuit or change a wall, you do. We handle the application and the inspections, and we do not do permit-required work without one — unpermitted bathroom work is a problem that surfaces at resale.

After the shower pan is waterproofed and before any tile goes on, we plug the drain, fill the pan with water and leave it 24 hours to prove the membrane holds. It is the only way to know the waterproofing works. Skipping it is common, and it is the reason so many five-year-old showers are rotting the subfloor underneath.
